1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

  • Google account ID — a unique identifier for your account.
  • Email address — used to identify your account and communicate with you.

We do not collect, store, or process the text you check with the Oops extension. All text checking happens locally or is processed transiently and never stored.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your Oops account.
  • To process subscription payments through Stripe.
  • To provide customer support.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Google Cloud. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard security practices.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Google OAuth — for authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe — for payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics — we may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to measure page views and basic usage patterns. No personal data is collected by our analytics.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored in your account.
  • Delete your account and associated data by contacting support@oops.tools.
  • Port your data — request a copy of your account data.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@oops.tools.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
